The University of Wisdom was established in 1999 by Decree No. 1947 of December 21, 1999, with the Law School, the School of Canon Law, the School of Business and Finance, the School of Political Science and the School of International Relations. In 2007, the School of Hotel Management was added by decree, and the School of Law was approved as a full school in 2008. The School of Public Health was added in 2012. The School of Canon Law was approved in 2014. The language of instruction is primarily French, with English and Arabic also used when needed, especially in the School of Law.
